Every day, the sun comes up on a beautiful Lancaster County farm – the farm that Jake Smucker grew up on. For the last 11 years, it has also been the home of J. Smucker Contracting, a company built on providing its clients the results and resources of even the largest commercial roofing companies while providing clients the personal touch of a family-owned and operated business. Our roofing contractors complete multiple manufacturer systems trainings as well as annual OSHA safety training throughout the year, striving to continually elevate their skill set to ensure the quality of our roof installations, coatings, and repairs while doing so safely. Each crew member has a minimum of 5 years’ construction experience, is trained and certified to install and service any roof systems we offer, and is fully insured.

Jake has been in roofing and construction since he was in his teens. As a hands-on owner, he sees to it that every one of the roofing projects goes smoothly, from estimate to final invoice.
Frank joined J. Smucker Contracting in April of 2023. Frank’s extensive knowledge and energetic personality make him a great asset to the team. He is dedicated to maintaining business development for the entire company.
